Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes, you can! Members get direct access to their doctor via secure messaging. Need a refill, have a weird rash, or just want to ask a question? Message us anytime.

    This is instant access.

  • We welcome both kids and adults! Kids, teens, adults, and families are all part of our care community.

  • If you're a member, same-day or next-day appointments are usually available. We want to make sure you’re seen when you need it most. We will do everything possible to accommodate your care needs.

  • Yes! You can see us from your couch, your office, or anywhere in Michigan. Many issues can be handled by video or phone, saving you a trip, but most importantly, time.

  • Yes! If you have Medicare, you can still join Daisy DPC. You’ll just need to sign a waiver acknowledging that we don’t bill Medicare for our services. You can still use your Medicare benefits for anything outside of your care with us, like specialists, hospital visits, or labs.

  • With traditional care, you usually have to call a busy office, wait days or weeks for an appointment, spend just a few rushed minutes with your doctor, and then get a bill later — even if you have insurance.

Direct Primary Care works differently. You pay a simple monthly fee — like a subscription — and that gives you easy, direct access to your doctor. You can text or call when you need something, get longer appointments, and actually have time to talk about your health. There are no surprise bills, no copays, and no insurance middlemen. It’s care that’s centered on you.

  • Our pricing has been carefully constructed to ensure we offer premium care that is still affordable.

    Please consult our pricing page.

  • We accept people with any insurance plan AND those without insurance.

We do NOT bill insurance for service . It is still recommended to have insurance for care outside of Primary Care.
Daisy DPC does not replace insurance, and we strongly encourage everyone to have at least catastrophic health coverage. This could be a high-deductible health plan, major medical insurance, or one of the many healthcare sharing plans (e.g., Sedera, Medishare, Samaritan Ministries). Having a catastrophic plan provides a financial safety net in case hospitalization or specialist referrals are needed. Regardless of your insurance situation, we’ll take great care of you.

  • Our model lets us have a closer relationship with patients than traditional insurance based doctors. With no insurance deciding what care is ok, the patient can have more control over what they need.

Pretty much everything you'd expect from a primary care doctor:

    • Preventive care & annual physicals

    • Sick visits

    • Chronic condition management (asthma, diabetes, high blood pressure)

    • Mental health support

    • Women’s health

    • Minor procedures

    • Medication management and more

  • We’ll help coordinate any labs, imaging, or prescriptions you need. We’re working on partnerships to offer discounted labs and imaging soon. In the meantime, we offer wholesale prescription medications right from our office whenever possible—saving you time and money. Thats right, prescription medicine will not be a profit maker. What it costs the office, is what youre going to pay.
